plastic wing nut stripped?? fastener holding resonator to throttle body

Ok forgive my ignorance on this but I figured I'd ask some experts before tackling this and doing the wrong thing.

On my 96 yukon, the deep wingnut that holds my resonator to the throttle body is stripped or to be more specific the plastic piece turns without backing out the threaded rod/ fastener.

I have some ideas on how to fix this so that i can tighten it down sufficiently but it will probably involve destroying the plastic to get to the threaded rod or the fastener molded into the body of the plastic piece.

I don't really know what this part looks like or if I can purchase a replacement or if I will just have to use fastener that will be tough to remove in the future.

Any recommendations on how to best remove and where to find a replacement or fix the one I have??

Thanks in advance.

My sierra has a regular nut on it, I bought it off a buddy who lost that part. Well he found it one day and gave it to me. I truly dont know if I'm guna put it back on or not so it's in the glove box. Ya your guna have to get creative to get it off but a regular nut can be used instead. You could also go to the scrap yard n pick one up. I'm weary of the plastic to metal and want to avoid a situation like yours and that's why it sits in the glove box.
