I have a 02 Tahoe with the leather seats w/o heat, memory etc.

I have a set of the heat and memory controls.

Is the wiring harness already in the truck to install these and install replacement seats that have the heat, power lumbar etc? (plug and play so to speak)

Or would I be purchasing this from a dealer? And if so, has anyone done this?

I unfortunately do not have an answer, but I do have a similar question. being new here, I searched for my question and found this. Seeing as no one replied I would like to bump this thread and add in my own question if possible.

I just acquired a 1999 silverado 1500 Z71 and would like to upgrade from my cloth seats to the power adjustable leather.

I'm in the same boat as ZeeTwentyFour however I don't want the leather (I live in AZ, too hot for leather). Can I just add the power seat frame to my seat and plug into the connector under the seat??

Thanks,
JM

I don't believe the harness is there. I believe you can buy the plugs for the seats, and then wire the seats in yourself. I think you might be able to order the harness from Autozone, Painless wiring, or other such places.

BTW, if anyone has some bucket seats they are looking to get rid of, let me know, I might be interested.
