Hello everyone
2013 Silverado LT 5.3 , traction control and stabilitrack warning lights came on , no change in performance running perfect as usual. Have been having a small issue with the battery staying fully charged, sometimes it wont start like the battery is dead but a just a touch with the battery charger and starts right up. Do notice the Alt. gauge showing low when driving sometimes but with in minuets it shows charging and then fully charged.
Does anyone know if this might the issue with the stabilitrack and traction control warnings lights on?
The only other issues are the headlight going out A LOT...replaced 12 sets since it was new

If the battery is original, I expect it is just about toast. Consider a new one.

The traction and stabilitrack warns are probably due to a bad (starting to fail) brake light switch.
Mine does the same thing and I've noticed it only happens when I apply the brakes.

Thanks Ray,
Just finished taking a look...disconected both battery terminals for 30 minutes...found a ground wire from the battery had insulation rubbed off rerouted and tapped over the insulation... pulled off all tires,.. used almost a whole can of brake cleaner on all ABS sensors..breaks pads barely half gone and orginal like the battery...with 97,950 miles.... battery is being replaced tomorrow...... after test drive no more issues
