Hello everyone. First post here. I have a 2015 Silverado 4.3. My temp gauge stops working and my fans stay on high. I’ve replaced my temp sensor and it is still doing it. If I unplug the battery and reconnect everything will work just fine for a few days, and then stops working again. I can not figure it out...any ideas would be helpful as I use my truck for work and can not afford to be without it for days. Thanks in advance!!

A lot of GM engines have 2 temp sensors, one near the thermostat and one in the head, I don't know what the new 4.3 has.

Kenny, it's probably a temp sensor.
I believe you have 2, sorry, I don't remember where they are mounted.
One of the 4.3 experts will see this and help you out
