I have a 2003 GMC 2500Hd Duramax (old body style) that the rear end is getting ready to pile up on. I found one for sale from a 2008 3500hd single rear wheel. I’m wondering if they are compatible. Thanks.

Depends if the 08 has Stabilitrak. That would mean transferring brakes, backing plate, etc. I don't know if the spring perches would be in the same place. Also need to check if the u-joint is the same. Overall it would be a semi-floating to full-floating upgrade.
If you're having trouble finding a semi-floating I think any truck with a 6.0 or 6.2 has the big pumpkin.
Electronics would need a look but 01-10 had trucks are all on the same frame, same suspension. What’s the gear ratios’s? A 2500 duramax would generally be 3:73 and a 3500 would be 4:10
