I don't know if any of you ever used "Liqui Moly" products ( Their German oil products) I first put the ATF additive in my old Pontiac Gran Prix, the transmission wasn't bad but it shifted hard and I had already installed a larger trans fluid cooler. So I suctioned about 10 oz. out of the transmission pan and put in the Liqui Moly ATF additive and the transmission never shifted hard ever again. Bitter cold or stiffing hot. I have done the same thing to my 88 Blazer and again it took the rough edges off the transmission operation. I just had the rear transfer case seal replaced and (I hate this, I gave the shop a quart of Mobil Synthetic ATF) so I got my Magic Creeper and slid under the Blazer and took off the upper threaded plug, and nothing came out. I asked them to top off the transfer case, but I had to put a pint and a half for it to start flowing out the hole, I left it off with a oil drain pan under the transfer case till it stopped flowing out. But there are times I have to wonder if I'm speaking English ? What is so hard about "Please top off the oil" when your done. I know you folks think it is a minor issue, but Why can't a shop get something so minor done ?
