I'm considering buying a 1976 C7000 with only 55K miles on it but it has manual steering. It may be that the power steering hoses are only common to the 366 big block in it rather than the same hoses for the small block or diesel. Any ideas on where to get the hoses or is there any way to get the hoses custom made to fit? Is installing the P/S box that big of an install?

I helped a buddy add PS to a '71 (maybe a '72) Chevelle. It was an easy job, he had the hoses made to spec.
It was at a local automotive shop; but I'm sure there are shops around that can do it.
As I remember, I also had this same shop make a set for an '86 Buick V6 that I owned.
