I purchased a 2500hd in October. Since buying it has been back to dealer for a knocking noise when accelerating in first two gears between 15000-2500 rpm. The first episode the trick through a code for the knock sensor but dealer replaced rocker arm for cylinder 1 which failed. Since then all rocker arms have been repaired but engine knock still there and very obvious on cold start but fades after thirty miles or so. I owned a 95 Silverado and a 2004 Tahoe and I’m familiar with the Chevy acronym (can hear every valve yelling) lol. Anyone have suggestions on what to tell dealer so the problem can be resolved.
